RSHS Summit

Yahoo! The RSHS Summit has nearly ended. The delegates visited the school this afternoon. And they were also able to witness the great performances of the mass demo participants and of course the performances of Saliw.

As a member of Saliw, of course I was happy that I was able to perform even though on some performances, I was just extra. Like in Tinikling, I together with ate Essie and ate Razzel were just clapping & swaying our hands on both sides of the kawayan while kuya VJ, Ate Joan, Jap and Ivy were dancing (Hahaha!!). But it's just alright, the good thing there is that I was able to step on the stage & perform. ^^,

Wooh, Saliw was really great. I was so glad that I am a member of the club. It really earned it's total respect from the students of Science High School. We were all happy because of it & of course, Ma'am May is happier because she is the adviser of the club. ^^

After the visit of the delegates in our school, they had their way back to Tagaytay. Ma'am May called all members of Saliw for a meeting. The meeting continued until at the end of the discussion, one of the lines from maam May that I will not forget, she told us that "..kung ano yung mga panget at kamalian noon, yun ang nagpagaling at nagpaganda sa performance niyo ngayon.." Yihee.. Maybe its really true. Because before, I was not really that good in dancing, but now, I'm not saying that I'm good, but I can now say that I improved. ^^

Bored Bored Bored...

I'm really really bored. I don't know why. Maybe because we're not anymore having classes.
Yes! Maybe that's the reason why. I want more to have classes rather than to standby at the
classroom, sleep, play guitar and the like..

And actually, one thing or one reason why I'm really bored is that I miss the times we worship
altogether with YFC. I miss HIM! To tell the truth, I'm just having communication with Him at
the school during worships because at house, I have so many things to do so I sometimes
forgot to pray. And to tell the truth, I actually just go to school of course to study but my main
objective is YFC.

(Eh..) This time we seldom have worships. Because almost all were busy. Busy with graduation,
busy with friends, with classmates, with clearance requirements, and with the mass demo
that's why we always go home late without having worship.

Waaah! Maybe because of this, I'm bored! Really really bored of schooling. T^T

Tired of Nothing

I'm so tired this day. I didn't do so much things this day but my body seems so tired.

There is no practice in COCC this day because most of the students had their Mass Demo. practice and during the afternoon, they were all gathered on the gym & had there practice altogether with the other levels.

One thing I had in mind this day was that, "Sana hindi na lang muna ako pumasok.. Wala rin pala halos gagawin.. " Haha!, But then, it's just ok, summer vacation is near! I'll just wait for it. hehe.

C.O.C.C.

Wooh. This Monday, all 3rd yr COCC were called in the morning. And we were asked to form our platoon.

It was just my first time to attend the assembly because most of the time, there is a meeting in saliw. So, because of that, I don't really have any idea of what we will do.

After a while, Kuya Kim taught us the COCC exercise, jab center & jab series. Haha! I was having fun doing that exercise. The whole day, my classmates together with me were also doing it at the room just to have fun.

After classes, COCC were called again. When we're already complete, Kuya Kim chose who will be our commandant and also chose the colours. I was surprised that I was chosen as one of the Colour Guards, while the other one was Kim. I really didnt expect it for what I just want was to be a cadet, following the commandant.

After that, Kuya Froiland and EJ started to train both of us. And our training continued as days past. We also tried to walked all over the school campus together with our commandant & the Colours. It was not that easy but then, I know that I can do it! ^^,

SALIW ON SPOTLIGHT

Yeah! After so many days, weeks and months of preparation, we had accomplished the Saliw's Project STARS!

It was in a form of a Dance Concert. This concert was participated of course by the present saliw members together with the school's alumni who were also a member of saliw.

This was last March 6, 2010.
We were all amazed to see that almost all of the 800 seats were occupied and also many alumni went to watch the concert.

Weeeh! All the efforts & practices we had were not wasted for the result of the concert was more than that of we expected.

Weeeh! It was also one of my memorable nights in my life as a member of Saliw for it was my first time to perform with them and not just that, it was a big event, it was a concert!

I hope there will also be another saliw concert next year. ^__^
